the tapping part i'm sure you can get advice from anywhere, but that surely isn't the hard part of the solo. there is a run that rhoads does that is simply ascending 16th notes that are grouped into 6 notes per beat. it's the climax of the solo, you couldn't miss the part i'm talking about. the best advice i would give for this part is to (obviously) take it slower at first, and only concentrate on your left hand. just do hammer-ons and pull-offs at first or whatever you deem necesarry to get your speed up on that riff. i don't know where your chops are at as far as the right/left hand syncopation, but that riff will test them a bit.
