Hey there,
So I have been looking into Fender Strats recently, and one that has caught my eye has been the Fender Strat with the reversed headstock, similar to the setup Hendrix played, but set up for righties. I have noticed that this changes the length of the strings (low E is long, high e is short), and that the bridge pickup has been positioned slightly differently. I haven't had the chance to actually play one of these yet, but I am curious if anyone out there has. If so, how does the tone on one of these bad boys compare to a traditional american strat? As I am looking for that strat tone, a good strat will do the trick for me, but since I also like to shape my tone to be something that stands out from the typical, I am wondering how much this different setup would change the standard strat tone. What do you all have to say?
