when people think gilbert, they think monstrous shred. face melting alternate picked licks, and so they should, but if you really listen, there is so much more. for example, his phrasing alone is insanely good. perfect timing, every time. he plays rhythm just as good as he plays lead.
definately not a guitarist to be overlooked.
