the killer tone.

ref: have you ever come across a a rack mounted wah before ?
have you ever come across the rocktron hush II CX

what is it other than skill that makes professional and successfull guitarists sound so perfect. surely they arent using special stompboxes that no one else can get hold of, like Roger Mayer did for Hendrix in the good ol' days, when effects were not used as regularly.

Now look, I understand that its more the selection of pedals and the quality of order n stuff, but why it is i get this humming sound, and popping when i select different pedals in my chain.

I've managed to build quite a nice little selection of fine vintage pedals, but i can still here the stomp box changes in the reply. ive used compressors, noise gates, all sorts but its just not the same. i appreciate pro's are heavily edited, and such noise taken away, but live its almost the same. no noise, no nothing, so clear, soaring solo's and crunchy rythems.

this is thanks to RACK PROCESSORS. i have just started to understand that pedals are ok, but it best to rely on rack systems to offer more professional results, and d'you now what, their not even very expensive.
have you ever heard of a rocktron hush II cx. On ebay right now there is one in australia, which has just £18.00 shipping fee but dont bid on irt cos i want it. anyway, for £50 ive gotten myself a professional peice of equiptment that slash uses for the price of a Marshall Compressor pedal. (and we all know how hyped up they are in the media. this is publicity. they put these stomp box's into the mainstream magazines n stuff and they sell. You never hear of guitar shops selling pro rack equiptment, cos there's no money in it. which is why theyre so cheap.

honestly, you have to get rack equipment to sound professional, you cant rely on hyped up stomp ****. now, dont get me wrong i still got a vintage ts-808 and the roger mayer autographed classic fuzz pedal sittin in ma chain. but for compressors and such, always go for rack gear.

so when i've been to giggs n stuff i can see what i preume is called a rack.
WIth all its flashing lights its a professional looking outfit. it surely must be worth spending money of stuff that the pro's use can be bought fo rthe same price.

ive just found out an interesting fact aswell bout wah wahs. slash uses a dunlop dcr-1sr cry baby rackmount wah wah. now how the **** does that work ? the effects in this little rack unit must be awsome. surely better than any hairy crybaby sitting heavily on the floor ?

have you guys got one for sell, i'd love to give it a go.
