100% agree with Ren on BC Rich guitars - daft shapes that can't be played sitting down. They do look cool but unless you are a rhythm guitarist who plays live a LOT and practises standing up I would look at something else. Try an entry level Ibanez or Jackson then when you get your chops up to speed upgrade the pickups - can't go wrong there.
