Glad you have your new freedom. Now you can just have fun. I can't help but wonder what is happening here though. The chat is in question, the moderators are at a minimum. Is GT heading for a fall? I hope not! I have grown to really like this place and the people.

I wish, but I've got two kids that are out of school for the summer that I've got to look after. So, it'll be a few months before I'm able to get some time to record again. I'll get back to it eventually though.

BTW... I must wait 24 hours before I'm able to rep anybody again, so if any of you are wondering where your rep is, that's why. Either that, or I have repped you recently and I must spread it around first

If you guys see any ANY posts that need moderation please click the post report button. Even though I'm not posting too much these days I still check my E-mail. I'll be able to come in and get rid of spam or whatnot for you guys.

What is odd is membership has nearly doubled the last year yet the forum has shrunk. I don't get it.

Well you definitely have the support from us, thats for sure. I don't think... refrase that, I know I wouldn't get 5 pages of praise in just one day. Maybe 2 or 3. :D

Be yourself at all costs. It's the only way you'll be happy and that's the most important thing. Besides, you can't help others with a neutral opinion.

In no particular order:

  • Being a moderator is, and always has been, a volounteer position. There are priveliges and responsibilities, but no pay.
  • You guys have been good enough at keeping each other civil that there hasn't been as much for us to do lately.
  • Eric has been one of the best, and we'll miss his skill.
  • I have a copy of the truck.
  • The forum usually gets a bit strange in the summer.
  • Life happens to people, and priorities change. I started a new job at the end of February, and it has left me less time for GT. Motorcycle season is back, and I'm spending more time with my FJ1200S. (A Yamaha, of course :D )
  • I still think of this place as my home on the net.

PRSplaya, you've realised what you've done, don't you? whatever follows will be on your hands, either that or you'll fix it by returning to your well-fitting job/activity here ;)

I apologize to all of the mods that are left, but this is something I had to do. Hopefully the extra strain won't be too much. I'll be sure to report any thread/post that needs attention.

I've been 'lurking' more than posting, lately. I've been here long enough that I've already answered the usual questions several times, and I sound 'brittle' when I carp on peeps about using the Search function.

There has not been a lot of moderation required lately. Kudos to all for being decent to each other.

Spammers abound. Some days it feels like scraping barnacles off a boat hull.

The GT site is experiencing some growing pains. Any organisation has some staff turnover at times like this.

Discussion continues. ;)

Things aren't like they used to be. I guess time will tell whether that's good or bad. I like the way you modded the boards dude - and you guys are right, we're pretty well behaved in general, and those who aren't don't seem to last long.

I can relate on being able to say what you want - kinda the purpose of 'open discussion', it'd be a drag not to be able to just say what I think.

Hopefully the new found freedom will mean we'll see you around more again Eric... :)
