I have nothing bad to say about Jasmine at all. A friend of mine had a Jasmine back when we were starting out, and I had a more expensive Fender (stay away from fender acoustics... just my opinion though). His guitar was awesome! I always kicked myself in the ass for spending more for a lesser guitar. If you can try it first, by all means, do so! It's always better to "try before you buy". Doesn't matter if it's a super high quality instrument, or a bottom of the line instrument... if you don't test it out in your own hands before you buy, you never know what you're going to get. Quality control isn't what it used to be. :(
