hi everyone I'm new at guitar just started learning first few chords. I have a few buddies that play guitar and they reccomended this site. well im here so just saying hello. oh ya, better tell about myself

I'm 17 and currently almost finished with my junior year. I want to learn geetar so i can make up a song for my girlfriend. im into magic the gathering and stuff and i play a lot with Raven Xalus. Well, thats what he tells everyone to call him. is he on this site? Hes teaching me the basics even tho hes 13. hes really awesome. he like shreds and stuff and hes so frickin young! lemme know if he is on this site. Oh ya, I like blues and classic rock. I like jazz type stuff a little as well. Raven trys to get me into metal, but it just doesn't seem my style. I wanna learn how to play some SRV, hes like my hero Just saying hi.
