I'm with Ben on this one: anything by Nick Drake. Anything off Pink Moon in particular, because that's the album with just guitar and him singing. Pure genius.

What a second, isn't it your Dad that you're always cracking on for saying goofy things? :) Hmm. Maybe I do sound like your Dad. And I don't think I'm your Dad but if I am;

1) Where were you last night?

2) Is your homework done?

3) Get out there and cut the grass.

4) No, you can't borrow the car.

Okay. I feel better.

Being that you loved Bron-yr-aur, naturally there's also Zep's other acoustic instrumental (+ Bonzo on percussion) Black Mountain Side. Also recorded on BBC Sessions was an epic 8:00 min electrified version...White Summer/Black Mountainside. It's also in an open tuning.

Otherwise a few of the ones I've especially played a lot are Babe I'm Gonna Leave You-Zep, From the Beginning-ELP, Greensleeves, Wish You Were Here-Floyd.
Also, Tom Petty's pretty fun and relatively easy: Learning to Fly, Runnin' Down A Dream, Into the Great Wide Open, etc...

Forgot one of my earliest songs that really stretched my pinky...Is There Anybody Out There-Floyd.

Woke Up Dreaming - Joe Bonamassa

All Along the Watchtower - Bob Dylan... but Michael Hedges version is my favorite.

Jimi Thing, Gravedigger, Grey Street, Grace is Gone, pretty much anything by Dave - Dave Matthews

joe bonamassa=god

anyways, those are all great songs.... Dylan gets credit for the sick song, but all goes out to hendrix for making that song what it is today. And I kinda dislike his vocals, so It all worked out well for me.
