I'm studying Spanish at uni, but I've only been doing it for ten weeks, so we haven't gotten onto tech talk yet... :p But yeah, there's the tocar verb like Brendon said - if I'm not mistaken, "I play the electric guitar" is Yo toco la guitarra eléctrico (hopefully I put the accent in the right place :o). Don't know anything else relevant, but I suggest running an advanced web search for some guitar sites in Spanish - perhaps one will have a diagram of a guitar with the parts labelled or something. If that fails, keep trying the online translators, but try to find a Spanish-specific one.
