A friend of mine turned me onto a DVD the other day, Derek Trucks "Songlines Live" and what a picker this kid has become. I saw him when he was about 16 and he was pretty damn decent then, but, wow what a difference a few years make. If you can get your hands on this DVD or cd check it out. His slide licks are out there and he does some jazz too. He has definitly grown. He has been touring with the Almond Brothers and Eric Clapton and not as an opening act but as part of there bands.
