I was speaking from my own experience. After one year playing on a nylon stringed gtr, I felt so 'free' on the electric - especailly with distortion. For the first 6 months I got my first eletric gtr, I did not touch the acoustic one. Then I realized I was getting sloppy with scales and my playing stamina decreased. So I made it a point to warm up with the classical gtr before playing the electric.
Well, this works for me. but I'm sure it is not the only way , and it is definaaltey not THE right way ,,haha.
Diversity, we should celebrate it. Hope our 'leaders' can manage to learn some part of it ...some day ;)
