If you go to a different gauge you should check and adjust the action and intonation. Action will most likely be higher and the intonation will likely be out a bit. The larger strings will sit higher in the nut. You will also loose some of the twang you get from a teley, making it a little bassier.

Like Nick said, plus you really need to get the nut re-cut to accomadate the larger guage strings and avoid tuning instability problems.
