Hey, hey, don't dog the 'Bert...'After the loving'? Terrific song. (okay, I'm being sarcastic) But here are a few thoughts regarding after the loving...

After the loving...

You wake, blurred from another weird and polluted Friday night. You have vague memories of drinking champagne from your dates high heel. There, peeking out from under the sheets is a size 13 foot...gnarled, savage. Once you can focus, you realize that the shoe was nothing more than a leather case for a monstrosity that has something on it that is neither bunion or corn...it looks like a flesh colored piece of broccoli.

After the loving...

She screams, pointing at what looks like a dead weasel on the floor beside the bed. It takes you a moment to realize that an animal didn't sneak into your house and die on your bedroom floor. It's your toupee, or Shatner hat as you like to call it when joking with your friends. You try to calm her but now she's pointing at you, screaming. You turn on the light on the night stand and you both have a chance to see each other a little more clearly.

After the loving...

You see her hair sticking straight out to the sides like wings on a biplane. Her makeup has smeared during the night, her eye shadow has caked up, clownish and odd, her lipstick appears to have slid off the mark leaving the look of a gunshot wound. You work up a 'good morning' but it comes out "Errghh-ing.." Your breath is so foul that it has become a physical entity, like a ghost floating across the bed. She tries to smile but the fumes make her woozy.

After the loving...

You walk her to the door and offer her cab fare. She takes the money from your hand and begins to walk down the hall. Moments later you realize that she had driven herself to your squalid 'pad'. Before you call out to her, she turns and says 'Please don't call me again..."

After the loving...

Okay, maybe that's just me. :D

Sorry, some times I just write random things.
