I am learning the guitar tab for "London Calling" - the official guitar transcription has a rhythm line for the strumming but I don't know how to read it or what the rhythm marks mean. Can anyone help me out on how the strumming is supposed to sound on the following two parts (Rhy. Fig. 2 & Rhy. Fig. 4).

The intro to the song is easy (4 down beats) and I am very familiar w/ guitar tabs, but I can't read music so the rhythm symbols are a mystery to me on these two parts. Fig. 2 is the strumming for the verses and Fig. 4 is part of the chorus. On Fig. 4, the first line is the same as Fig. 2, so I am primarily interested in how that second line is supposed to sound. Can anyone explain this to me, or point me to a site that can help me out?

Thanks,
R
