We (Tonja and I) need some advice. We're moving into a new house, and our "big" TV will be going downstairs (which will be the entertainment/game room). So, we will be needing a TV for the family room upstairs. We're looking for something like a 27" widescreen flat panel TV. I've never bought a TV before, so I don't know what in the world to look for, as far as specs go. We also need a 5.1 surround sound speaker system (just the speakers, already have the receiver, CD changer, DVD player, etc...). This system will be used with a 34" widescreen Panasonic CRT TV for movies, music, and video games.

Price range... <1000 CAD for the TV and <800 CAD for the speaker system
