PRS playa, how does the valveking compare to a Marshall. I know its probably a silly question cause Marshalls are a world differnt, but does it give that really heavy creamy buzz like a Marshall.

Nothings going to sound like a Marshall but a Marshall. haha. You could look at getting a used JCM head off Ebay or something and getting an attentuator so you can saturate the tubes and still control the volume. That'd be your best bet.

Are you talking about a vintage Brit tone or an overdriven Brit tone? Because there's a difference between the Marshall amps of the 70's and the Marshall amps of the 80's- present.
