In a piano, the middle C is obviously in the middle then the other middle notes after the C [D, E, F, etc..] are linear right after each note and you can play it smoothly by just following the notes in the staff while in the guitar, we cannot play it in just one string. There are other strings and frets that could also be sounded as middle notes more than once in each string unlike the piano, middle notes are only placed in one location.

Example: The 3rd fret of A in a guitar is also the same sound as the 8th fret of open E string as well as the other notes indicated in the fretboard. While in the Piano, The middle C is just in one location. The other C will be higher or maybe lower C.

Got my point? Now that is why I am having a hard time figuring out the proper notes in a staff for a guitar...

Thanks for your time....
