I have a question concerning chicken picking, Greg Koch say's in order to get the (clucking sound) you first have to pluck the note whilst muting (or deadening) the same string with your finger or pick then plucking the string again clean (hope no-ones confused) thus really plucking each note twice. my question is this........ is there anything in the rules that says you can't mute the note with you fretting finger then play the note clean as surely this is getting the same result but the other way round....... hope no-ones confused i tried to explain it the best i could . . .
