I would however recommend a Jackson Soloist, I don't know if it's "better" than a Jem or not as I've never played a Jem, but it's still worth a look if you're wanting to spend that amount of money.
You've got a point, but if the same axe keeps coming up over, and over again there could be something worth taking into consideration there.
But I mostly rely on my own preferences. I really like Jacksons, good choice :cool:
