I guess the worst thing I've ever had in my eye was lime powder, back when I worked at the ol' turkey farm. I was wearing goggles, strangely enough. I was also wearing coveralls, boots, and gloves, but I still managed to get a nasty nasty chemical burn on my right arm and both feet.
