Actually, I'd say one of the themes of The Unnamable is more that things (Worm) exist whether or not language names them. However, Mahood's kind of intellectualism would certainly adhere to that philosophy that "nothing can exist without the language to name it."



I have never been one to philosophise, however man doesn't name everything. we also have the ability to express a thought numerically, therefore everything exists whether we name it or express it numerically.
It's a shame that with all mans/womans intelect we still persisit on destroying our home. MOTHER EARTH. Sheesh now i have a headache. Now i know why i don't philosophise.
