"Professional" tone that you hear is often the product of a lot of recording techniques, mixing, and coloring. Pro's use things like Protools and other programs to take out hisses and other noises like string noises and ambient noises that aren't needed.... Some equipment that you might want to look into is a soundgate... but yout GNX1 should have one built into it already... maybe read over the manual for it about how to set your soundgate...

The JCM amps aren't known for their clean tones... quite simply... I have a JCM 800 and it's clean tone ins't anything to gravel over. For this I own a Fender Blues Deluxe.... To make matters worse for you... you have two guitars that aren't made for superb clean sounds... Active pickups aren't made for clean tones... Your Jackson Soloist is in the same boat... High output pickups aren't made for clean sounds... If you're looking for a great clean sound you've got the wrong axes for it... sorry to say. Some things that you can do to make it sound a little better is get an EQ pedal that will allow you to smooth your tone out. I'm sure you're finding that your clean tone is harsh and brittle with very little warmth... even when you're using the neck pickup.... Another solution is get a chorus pedal... A light chorus can color a clean tone enough to bring your clean tone to life.

Just a few things to look at.
