Thanks for the reply. I think I understand it now. Basically, for 3/4 time I simply count 1,2,3...1,2,3 for each measure as opposed to 1,2,3,4...1,2,3,4 in 4/4 time, with each beat equal to a quarter note. I just need to get used to programming my drum machine in 3-beat measures as opposed to the 4-beat measures I am used to. If you have any additional input please reply, if not, thanks a bunch for the reply and links!
