I've been playing for 7 years and finally decided to build my own guitar. :cool: I'm building a 50's Gibson Flying V Korina in my own style with a glue/set neck. The neck is built with a curly flame maple and a indian rosewood fretboard
Its gonna be one sweet piece. The main body is made of ash while the front and back is made of AAAA quilted maple. I plan on doing the finish with an emerald green (hopefully look like a PRS finish).
The sound should be a killer. I purchased the seymour duncan "Dave Mustaine" live pickups. All the hardware is gold finished and the tuners are all vintage. On top of that I plan on doing my own inlays.
