Just to clear things up. Ibanez didn't come to Vai with the Jem. Ibanez came to Vai and he gave specs for his prototype guitar and told them that if they could make it, he'd endorse it. He does have a lot of guitars. But trust me. Most of them ARE Ibanez. If you check out his website you can see about forty of them. The Jem isn't like any of the other Ibanez guitars either. I love my 7420, but am planning on changing the pickups very soon.
