like they all said, humbuckers and tons of gain work well. It also can depend on what your guitar is tuned to. If you tune to D or C, your harmonics will have a lower end to them, but if your in standard, you can get more of a squeal out of your harmonics. Its all about pick placement and how you hit the string.
