I use 1 Meg pots with my aftermarket buckers; the factory pots were 500 k, as are the pots in my single-coil SG-2, while my V has 250 k pots and buckers as the stock configuration.

Rule of thumb: increase the pot resistance to open up a muddy pup; decrease resistance to warm up a harsh one.


Thats what I meant... I was in a hurry... Sometimes I get dyslexic when I'm in a hurry. Thanks for the correction.
