Mine are:-

Yngwie malmsteen - hold on
Dave Gilmour of Pink floyd - Comfortably Numb
Dave Murray and Adrian Smith of Iron Maiden - Phantom of the opera
Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath - Paranoid, Heven and Hell

Here are my favorite solos/ riffs
Hammet'smaster of puppets-I like how he accidently squealed the high note.
Steve Vai's Head Cuttin solo from the movie "crossroads"
Randy Rhoads' Crazy Train-took me a while to learn
Black Sabbath rocks
Chuck Berry's Johnny B. Goode-unbeatable song.
I love almost all of slayer's riffs
Hammet's Ride the Lightning-just a cool solo that goes perfectly with the song
Stairway to Heaven solo-Zepplin isnt my fav any more but I still have high respect for jimmy's talent. Plus his solo wasn't planned out at all. He winged the whole thing on the spot. Fricken cool if you listen to it.
Joe Satch's Surfing w/ the Alien.
