OK -- Tab sites are down (can't post this in places to .....)
doesn't really fit into the songwriting section..... even though it is basic..just doesn't seem to fit in that section either....Well the moving truck will haul it away if it is the wrong place  :p

Need some help out there GT land. I have a basic beginning student. He likes Johnny Cash. ***Background--I try to reward my beginning students by teaching them songs they mention as favorites for "jobs well done"***

I don't have a recording so I can not figure it out myself, + I don't really want a recording becuase Johhny Cash just ain't my cup-o-tea.

So I would like to do this the "old fashion way" (wih the modern twist of the internet reaching 1000's) and ask--Does any one know and post the basic chords to "Ring of Fire" by Johnny Cash? When I say Basic, I mean, open chords only no 7ths, suses, add9 minor 9 flat the 13th carry the 2 move the decimal...

Also could you provide a simple quarter not form of the chord progression? Example (using DAD progression in 4/4 time)

D (1,2) A(3,4) D(1,2,3,4)

Thanks in advance ya'll.
