Actually, they were. The title "Snakes on a Plane" was originally a throwaway which the directors never planned on using. However, Samuel L. Jackson REFUSED to be in the movie unless the title remained "Snakes on a Plane," thus turning it into the tongue-in-cheek, hilarious creature feature we all anticipated.

ya, they were originally goona call it Pacific Air 121 or something like that, it wouldn't have been nearly as popular or succesful

EDIT: o, and of course the climax of the film, everybody in the theater was clapping and cheering at this part when I went to see it

The title is intended to be "bad," as is the whole movie.

As "bad" as this movie is, it's done pretty damn well and actually very entertaining.

Of one could make some sense out it but really it's so LMAO!

When I saw The Ring, I remember I liked it a lot until the part where the little girl came out of the TV. From then on, all I could do was laugh.

I actually find the movie extremely scary. The first movie I actually had a nightmare...

normally people don't, but c'mon, you can't say that wasn't a great line, It's the line everyone was waiting for, samuel l jackson, with snakes, on a plane, that movie gathered a huge cult following ever since it was announced
