If you just bought it. Take it back and check it with another guitar and cable or swap it out with one that works with your gear if it is the amp. After all, it is new, right. Before you do, you might call the manufacturer and ask them for assistance. All parties would rather help you out than piss you off and you tell 20 other people what a P.O.S. it is.
