OK, since we seem to not be getting anywhere let me ask a question. What brand/model of tuner do you have? It sounds like it's a Korg but just to be sure. When tuning with an electronic tuner hit the strings open. There are times you need to push down strings when tuning (like when checking intonation) but we'll get over this little hurdle first. :)
