It's easy to tune down, though it's kind of a pain. You can do it with a chromatic tuner if you have one. Otherwise, ya gotta do it by ear--which is easy when you get used to it, but hard at the start.

A chromatic tuner should show you when you're at Eb and you tune to that rather than to E. Then you do that for each of the strings (but not all to Eb ;) ).
