i think playing over the top of your guitar is sick, or lifting the guitar by the whammy bar and making some wierd noise (IE:dragonforce) just try to picture yourself playing really cool, if its metal, sling your guitar low, i once saw a guy take his strap off and play some wierd hammer on/ pull off lick holding his guitar with one hand and putting his arms straight out to the side, just do what you think is cool
