Yeah it does have EMG pickups, H4's I think, and low tunings is exactly why Im looking to get a 7 string, also no FR to me is a good thing because to me floyd rose seems like a hassle. Metal is definetly what I'm going for on guitar :D so it seems like a good guitar to get for a good price
