I have a JCM 800 2203 50Watt head that I was thinking I could use as a preamp into another power amp and then to the speaker cab. That way, I can wring all the power tube distortion out of it for good sound without destroying everyone's ears. Anyone have any experience and or tips/guidance with this? Any gotchas or reasons to/not to do it?
