That AE500 I just bought fell victim to my dad's scrutiny. I brought it out proudly, and was like "look what I got!" He just sort of stared in disbelief and said "You got another guitar?! Why? How much?!"

"$500."

He shook his head, so I shouted "AND WHAT'S WRONG WITH THAT?!?!?!!"

"Money isn't easy to come by," he replied.

"It is for me," I said, and walked away.

Later he tried it out, and said "Damn, that's a nice guitar!" He tried to cover it up by adding "but you still didn't need another one," but I knew he liked it.
