Ok, back on topic...

The Justice album does have some great heavey tones on it. Here's why it's hard to get that scooped sound, and it still sound right, and be able to cut through a mix... They didn't scoop the mids much at all! In fact, they used a good bit of mids to get the guitars to cut through like they did. The mids got scooped on the whole mix (guitars, drums, bass, etc...), at the board.
