Sorry guys

Guys / Gals. I am on my soap box.

I am sure that "cracker" was used in jest and was not mentioned as an insult or slur.

The word "boy" has been swapped from many different cultures as derogatory also.

In some ways it is/was funny and cute in how it was originally stated/used.

Lesson-- be careful what is written and take everything with a grain of salt. This is the internet afterall.

What I find most uplifting about this forum is that WE have all come together to discuss what is our passion and commonality----Music.

Yes we are all guitar players but this is just a tool that helps us express ourselves. We have come together-- From all walks of life, different backgrounds, countries, ages etc. etc. etc.

But we meet to discuss and talk about what makes us "come alive".

I could be considered 3rd generation "bigot"-- from Texas, Southern US, so on so forth[U]-- not a " practicing " bigot ( and I am not saying anyone here is or has said anything to that fact)[/U]
I have heard my share of all the slurs both given and received. It is sad.

I am a father of 3 sons and I hope that when they are older that they will not be considered 4th generation so on so on so on....

Lets not have this thread take a very bad turn and get into a discussion that -- to me -- is pure **** (mods-- I know about the language abuse policy etc. but if a "child" were to read this.. I hope that { and as a Parent } they would understand that this is exactly what this is) :confused:

I just get passionate about thas issue-- sort of like Chris Rock on LW4 when he is talking to Rigs and Murtaugh about the shooting at the beginning.

nah ur just being a conservative parent... nth wrong with that...u do have a good point..depends on one's interpretation...
