what kills me would be these.
1) morse/deep purple "sometimes i feel like screaming" (he adds to it live, fantastic! feel and all!
2) morse/steve morse band "simple simon" off of southern steel. OUCH!
3) john petrucci/dream theater "erotomania" and "lie" off of awake. more technique and feel than should be allowed by law.
4) alex lifeson of rush "la villa strangiato" off of hemispheres. all i can say is, damn!
5) neal schon "the dragon" off electric world. what soul, what speed, what the hell!
6) evh "i'm the one" off van halen 1. was he pissed when he did this? maybe dave was annoying him, but that was an attack on the guitar!
hitch a ride-boston, desert rose-eric johnson, stiil got the blues-gary moore, too many too list!

Hey, sorry took a while, been away from my computer for a bit. Yea, Gary Moore's playing rules. I'll admit I've only heard one or two tracks though, I keep meaning to follow his playing up but I always get distracted. While I'm here, what album of his would people recommend getting?
Don't worry too much about me, ignore me long enough and I'll go away.

Gary Moore - Still Got The Blues and the latest ones pretty good too.
I dont think he played on any Lizzy albums, possibly Thunder and Lightning but I cant be sure.

Steve Morse,John Petrucci(my alltime fave),we have a guitar player here in Australia called Tommy Emmanuel whose acoustic work is just awesome,we also have a guy called Chris Cheney from the band The Living End,he's very much in the same style as Brian Seltzer.Anyone remember Vito Bratta from White Lion, great chops.Of course there is always Eddie!!!!!

Hotel California of course. I like Dream Theater and Petrucci´s solos. My favorite Petrucci solos are in Erotomania from Awake album, Anna Lee from Falling into Infinity Album. And Mr Vai - best solo is in Rescue me or Bury me.
