some rep should be nice... for my first post... it helped..

alot of you summarised it to a simpler form: i am not afraid of being dead, but i am afraid of death itself. its human instinct to survive. its human instinct to fear the unknown. and nature has proven some have come to accept the unknown and good things came from it, and bad. like fire. when fire was first seen by man, he was afraid of it. it had complete power over him. it could kill him, burn his territory, and food. but once man accepted fire and learned to control fire, he could use it for marvelous wonders like cooked food, which was faster to chew and digest, which saves time eating and getting energy from food (it took an hour to chew meat like chicken, then even more time to digest), and much healthier than raw meats, and you dont need to eat as much cooked food as you do raw. but with controlled fire came the power to destroy. with the nature of man's qualities like greed and survival, man used fire to destroy other territories and kill competition.

death is an unaccepted fear. man hates pain. man is convinced death is painful. so man doesnt want to die. but what of there is something after death that is far better than life here with its nuclear wars? but thats not what i'm trying to say. i'm trying to say that i believe when we die we either go to heaven or hell, some people believe we get reborn into another person, or reincarnation, or we are at the same state of mind before we were born. unexistant.

just enjoy life because you may die tomorrow. or even the next minute. but dont enjoy too much because what if you use all you have and are left with nothing and you don't die until you're in your 120's? life's gonna suck for a hobo. just live as if you know death exists, but you'll let it come when it comes. people die every day. your time will come too.
