dont spend 3000 on a new prs- get a nice used one- there are plenty on ebay- for 1600-1700 and artist packaged for 22-2300. at 19 dont get it for looks, get it for how it plays and any prs is going to play awesome. check out brian moores as well, there is a reason they are called the working mans prs- the i1 is impressive and around 1300 brand new.
