If you are in the key of G minor; and stock those notes one on top of the other you get a Dominant chord.
C
A
F#
D

If that chord is a Funtioning Dominant, and if you are moving counter-clockwise in the circle of 4ths and 5ths. You will resolve to G minor.
Looks like you are trying to lead the inner voices to G minor using a descending chromatic run.

C
A
...Ab
......G
........Gb
............F
..............E
................Eb
...................D
......................Db
..........................C
.............................B..D
.................................Bb G minor
.................................G.

If that is the case, you could take the root of the Dominant Chord and ascend chomatically to the Bb in the G minor chord.

D-D#-E-F-F#-G-G#-A- A#/Bb.

Am I in the right path?
Someday I`ll play like in my dreams.
