What's this? A GT member who spends time offline? :p I guess the addiction hasn't set in yet. Give it time, this site will swallow your life like a giraffe swallowing the life of a smaller giraffe.

Anyway, when I started learning I just learned a bunch of songs, then picked up techniques and stuff here and there. If this is the best way or not I don't know, but it's worked for me. You could check out some books on guitar method, they should give you some ideas of stuff to work on.
