I meant... paying to hear YOUR songs. The songs you choose. Think about it... when you go to a concert you're paying to hear the band play songs they want (in most cases) to play. You go there becasue you like their music... not because they just so happened to be the band that got chosen to play the concert.... No body is going to pay 50 dollars for a lawn seat to listen to some garage band play songs no one has ever heard of..... They pay to listen to songs because they like them. And on the other end of the spectrum... You can't expect people to Pay a cover charge to listen to music they don't like. That's what I was trying to say... but in much much fewer words... I guess I could have said... Until you make a platinum record... chances are people aren't going to want to pay to listen to you play what you want to play. They want to be entertained to their own tastes
