i say you do some song with a very hard solo. so the lead guitarist will have some new friends. by the way my school had a concert and i was originally in the classic rock and metal club but i quit 2 meetings after when i found out they cant play, and me as a freshman was better than most of the seniors. they call themselves the classic rock and metal club when all they played was metal and some modern rock. so anyways good luck with your band.

I don't think we would play the a capella version. Actually probably not at all. This is a dance, nobody can dance to Rape Me. We could play Smells Like Teen Spirit but that's about it for danceable songs.

yall should really stop fighting and get some communication, and set up permanent regular practices. some sacrifices will have to be made from the one who watches my name is earl. or there wont be practice on that day. or maybe he can have practice on that day and still watch my name is earl. have the practice at a different time than the show

That's what I've been saying! We need to stop bickering and just get some stuff done. Practices are set. That's when they are and that's when they'll be. If we get a shot at a gig we take it. The end.

im with acapella. take whatever chance you can get.. cause some opportunities come once in a lifetime.

but dont be so tough all the time man. calm down and just discuss with everyone before making any decisions. if you make decisions without EVERYBODY knowing and agreeing, chances are it wont work out.

why dont yall stop using the forum to argue? if yall live close enough to be a band then get outside and deal with it.
