I'm not particularly social with most of my family these days, but still, people I know and continue to associate with also gather and enjoy themselves. So I fail to see why I should just shuffle off to a corner by myself because I don't buy the story behind it when everyone else is going about their own thing and having fun at the same time. It's going to be there one way or another, so all that's left is for me to decide how politically correct I want to be. Personally, I don't care how politically correct I am, I'm gonna go have fun with my friends. If someone thinks that's a problem then I guess they're just going to have to find some way to cope with that because I don't plan on stopping. Blatant opportunities to be with friends (especially days that your work is calling it a paid holiday) are too rare. The only quarrel I really have with the deal is the need to be politically correct that people have adopted. The whole "Merry Christmas vs. Happy Holidays" debate can shove it for all I care. The more time you worry about what you're calling it, the less time you really enjoy what's around you. Just my thoughts.

Celebrate all you want. I just think that if you're going to mock a religion it isn't right to join in holidays that celebrate their beliefs. I'm not telling anybody to stop, but at the very least don't mock the religion who's holidays you quite willingly celebrate.
(I'm not saying you do this, Cryptic.)
You go outside and practice screaming. We'll play music while you're gone.
