Well, I think a big part of religious holidays (at least Christian holidays, and at least for me) is the spending time with the family. My mom's side of the family is fairly religious, but I think the main draw of Christmas is that the whole extended family gets together. It's not the presents, although we do give them out, and it's not the religion, although we do go to church that night. It's the togetherness. And I'm not very religious, but that's ok because I just see Christmas as family time.
