PS. Remember that release is as important as holding down. You can find a way to build up those muscles as well. When praticing scales and such you might try this. Play each note twice, when ever the pattern will let you, pick the note to be played once then place the next finger to be used on the next note to be played before you pick the previous note for the second time. This is a way to train your fingers and mind to be ahead of yourself. Try this very slowly at first, incorperate it into all your scales and riffs. It is difficult at first and borring, but you will experience a differnce in a few days ( 15 minutes a day will show an improvement). This will also help with arp's.
